In the world of 'snail mail,' there are lots of choices in mailboxes with MCM aesthetics

	5. X Press Mailbox from DecorPro Another Canadian product we like is from an offshoot of Develpro Inc., a design firm that's been around since 1974. They have operated their DecorPro brand since 2009 and offer the X Press Mailbox, an attractive, affordable box with modern lines that its website boasts is "angled perfection." Made of stainless steel and coated in epoxy powder paint, it comes in five colors and has a face that can be clear tempered glass for $119 or shaded for $145.
	6. Triumpho Envelope Mailbox From even farther afield than Canada is a stark mailbox made by Ukrainian company Triumpho. It is ironically patterned after—what else?—an envelope. These handcrafted, stainless-steel boxes are wall-mounted and come with built-in locks and two keys for $180. They are offered in black, gray, red, or brown, and numbers can be added for another $60.
	7. The NeutraBox One of the most affordable of our selections has, in several respects, the best modernist pedigree. For starters, it is named for one of the genre's greatest architects, Richard Neutra. "The composition of the NeutraBox is simplified to the strict use of vertical and horizontal lines, with a sense of asymmetry," says the manufacturer, referencing their product's inward angled door. The company makes a post-mounted box dubbed NB-1 (currently unavailable), and a wall-mounted NB-2 model in red or black that runs $149. Each galvanized steel box is handmade to order in three days and features a perforated aluminum rear panel "so that the back looks as cool as the front."
	8. MCM Mailbox by Modbox USA One of our personal favorites (based on childhood memories of a neighbor's mailbox) is the post-mounted model by ModBoxUSA. "The Modbox looks sleek from any angle," CEO Greg Kelly says. "You'll want to mail letters just to put the flag up!" The two-toned Modbox comes in five different upper-body colors and is paired with either white or black lower bodies. They run $259 plus an optional $119 for a post and $15 for address numbers. There is also a wall-mounted model.
