1955 Fortune Magazine Cover shows Fairmeadow

Shows the cover of Fortune Magazine February, 1955. It shows a photo (I think) of the Palo Alto Fairmeadow subdivision of Eichlers (Redwood Circle, Carlson Circle, Starr King, Roosevelt, Ramona, South Court, etc.).

This photo looks so "perfect" it almost looks like it might have been a model, but they say it's a photo. The area on the far side of Alma street looks perfectly green in the photo. Note some of the houses had red gravel on the roofs.

I searched this board for "fortune" and didn't find this, hope it's not a duplicate, since I'm not a "regular" here... although I lived in both Fairmeadow and Los Arboles during 60s and 70s.
