Closet door wallpaper substitute

Hi all,
I have been refinishing 12 of our orginal closet doors - stripping, sanding, repainting... and now am on to the panels. All of the panels have been cleaned, and primed for wallpaper. Unfortunately, using real grasscloth is not an option as we have a cat. There are some really nice textured vinyl faux grasscloths on the market, but I can't find any larger than 27" wide, and I really don't want a vertical seam on the horizontal pattern.
Has anyone come across a good substitute for grasscloth? (Getting rid of the cat is also not an option just in case you were thinking that...)
