Anyone have old kitchen drawer slides? We have one drawer with a missing plastic "wheel" and can't locate a replacement. Would appreciate hearing from you ASAP, before we go nuts trying to jury-rig the drawer.

Hi Connie,

I believe Eichler used different drawer slide mechanisms in different tracts at different points in time. Can you indicate what tract/city you are in so neighbors can identify themselves and so the rest of us can figure out if we have what you need?

Offhand, I think I have a different mechanism. My kitchen drawers have a single plastic hanger attached at the back of the drawer. It runs on an I-beam like wooden rod running from front to back of the kitchen cabinet. I'm thinking what you have is something but different, but let us know.

To clarify: my house is in Sunnyvale, built around 1968. What we need are bottom-mount slides.
