Just beginning to look into installing ductless a/c. Saw the LG Art Cool on this website and it looked good. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that services marin that might give me some professional advice on LG Art Cool and other brands?

Please send recommendations directly to craig.d.albers AT gmail.com, or post on the Rec Room section of this forum.

I am also looking at at the Artcool product.

I scoured through the search function of this forum for "mini split", "art cool", "artcool", and found that only 2 people have installed it: redneckmodern and gordon.

It think both people had in installed a couple years ago. I like to hear feeback from people who have installed the Artcool product and comment on them. The units are pretty, but are they as good as they look.

I have read a review on another website that said it made his wall condense water, but it could be the installation was done incorrectly.

thanks in advance

happy to answer questions, but since any review i'd give would contain vendor names and the good/bads of the experience, you'll need to contact me directly. you know were to find me.

We just got our updated Eichler a few months ago in Walnut Creek.  It has just about everything -- but no air conditioning.   We are looking for reccomendations (or warnings) about HVAC installers who will come to the north east Bay Area and put in a mini split for us.   Please feel free to Private Message me here, or direct email me mike(at)mikerothermel(dot)com.

I'd also like any information you've found. It's quite hot in Walnut Creek and I really don't want to put a giant hvac on the roof. :)
