Glass type for atrium windows off of hallway

Hi - We own an Eichler in Orange, CA that we are renovating. The atrium had been enclosed by a previous owner. At that time they took out the full height windows between the atrium and hallway and put in really bad doors. Does anyone know what type of glass was originally installed in these windows?
thanks
Brian

I believe that plate glass was used in all the Eichlers in our Sunnyvale neighborhood. But if you are putting in new or replacement glass I bet your local building codes will require tempered glass for use in floor to ceiling applications. Your local glass shop should know, if not contact your local build and safety department.

I guess I was more interested in knowing if these certain windows off the hallway had a mistlite, or other opaque glazing. I know that all of the other windows were just typical 1/4" glass. Check out the flicker image for the location of the glass.

ours, in a similar location and size, is mistlite. seems like you could ask other owners of similar floorplans in you neighborhood for a more accurate assessment, though.
