How lock Arcadia sliding doors from outside?

Any ideas on how to fashion a lock for the outside of Arcadia sliding glass doors? We have locks on the inside to keep us secure, but they do not allow for use when we are outside the house. We'll need to lock and unlock a sliding door when we are outside.

On our courtyard model the front door is an Arcadia sliding glass door with an outside key setup. The back yard sliding glass doors do not have that feature but are otherwise identical mechanically. If you can find the outside pull handle with lock cylinder from a front door like ours you can have a key fitted (or lock cylinder replaced) by any locksmith and install it on your existing slider(s).
