Kitchen Hood for Eichler's -- General Contractors?

Hi Everyone:

We recently moved into an Eichler without a kitchen hood.   The original kitchen vent is there but does not align directly with the stove since the kitchen was remodeled.  We're seeking a general contractor who can put in a kitchen hood.

Current situation:  The current vent is not powerful and appears to not function efficiently.  It makes a lot of noise.

Goal:  We're hoping to install a kitchen hood that isn't so loud to protect the ceiling from oil splashes and to reduce the smell in the house.
