Load bearing walls?

Dear Network-
I have a 1964 Claude Oakland model VC-674. The previous owners did some remodelling and took down two walls: (1) between the hobby room and the living/dining room and (2) the wall containing the closets between the two front bedrooms. A home inspector looked at (1) and said "no prob". Same home inspector looked at (2) and said "no comment". Structural elements in the ceiling were covered up with a panelled drop ceiling, which I have recently uncovered to get a better look-see. It's a little strange up there, hard to describe.
Here is my question: Was wall 2 a load bearing wall?
I have no history of permits and inspections for the previous work and will have a licensed profesional take a look at it. In the meaintime, I'm just curious about people's experiences with removing this wall.
