Hi all - we have an Eichler in Sunnyvale and we're considering replacing the carpet with hardwood or bamboo or the like. But we were told it might be a good idea to first get the Radiant Heat System in the slab checked out so we could catch and fix any problems before we spent too much time and money on the new flooring.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Radiant Heat company that can come and check our system out and help us fix any problems if found? Send recommendations directly to: r_s_iyer AT yahoo.com
Thanks!
I saw your posting today, although it was written in 2006. You were looking for a radiant heat inspector.
I am going to do the same thing that you did back then. We are going to put in new tile and hardwood (floating engineered hardwood) and will have our radiant heat check prior to re-doing the floors.
Who did you use as your radiant heat guy and did you have any problems with the floors?
Thank so much,
Vivian
