Looking for replacement door knob, specifically the latch

We have a '70s era Eichler. One of the locking knobs broke and I tried to replace w/ a similar one.

The problem is the length of the latch.  Some have standard lengths of 60mm (2 3/8") or 70mm (2 3/4").  You can also find 5" latches.  My house has some 2 3/4" but this broken knob is actually 95mm and we have a few like that.  I CANNOT find a 95mm latch, I went to the local locksmith who informed that this is indeed unique.
Rather than install a brand new door just get a standard door knob to work, does anyone have a door knob with a 95mm latch?  I'd even just take the latch.  Just asking here in case someone's doing an Eichler remodel.  Unfortunately, I did not keep the old, broken knob because I never thought this would happen.
