Original Eichler Question

Our 1960 Terra Linda Eichler windows have me completely stymied.

They are 2 glass panels, single pane, have a metal frame and slide right to left.

Anyway, HOW ON EARTH DO YOU REMOVE THE SCREENS?

The only thing I can see is to disassemble the whole window. Is this possible?
