Hello, we remodeled our SM-100 kitchen last year and have the following items in our San Mateo Highlands garage.

- Kitchen cabinets (upper and lower)
- Oven cabinet
- Pantry
- Countertop (including backsplash)
- Thermador cooktop

We would like to sell all of these for $200 OBO. Please let me know if you are interested! Thanks!

Hello,
I am involved with the restoration process of the X-100. We have started getting bids, and identifying the scope of work; I've inspected everything and we do need a few things. I have many jobs in the SM highlands, and if it is not too much trouble, I'd like talk to you about salvage some of the original materials you have to go into the restoration.
Please email me directly at [email protected], and we will exchange contact info and arrainge a time to meet. This project will help to preserve one of the homes built in the fifties that was used as a marketing/exhibition tool that was partially responsible for the impact that Eichler had on the development of the post modern/ modern homes that are growing increasingly popular (and would be a nice contribution to preserving a slice of history).
Thank you to Stacey and Jason in Diamond Heights for thier contribution as well.

Hi--I need to have my cook top repaired and may need spare parts. Please let me know, if the cook top is still available and can be mined for parts. We also are looking for a good electrician to do the repair, safety check and upgrade.
Thanks a bunch.

hi
I am interested in locating an original pantry. I am specifically thinking of the unit 72 x 72 with sliding doors, about 12 inches deep. Also any overhead kitchen cabinets.

For Georgia,

All the original Eichler stovetops and ovens I've seen were Thermador, so I'm assuming that's what you have. I believe the Thermador-authorized repair center for the Bay Area is Appliance Experts in San Jose. Their contact info is:

Appliance Experts
1413 N. 10th Street
San Jose.
408-294-2698

I'm not sure if the front office is as savvy as they might be about older appliances but the repair chap they sent both times I called was very knowledgeable. (I had a vintage oven and stovetop inspected/installed then the single oven replaced with a double oven model.) Not all parts are still manufactured but the service repairman should be able to identify what's needed.

Good luck.
