Plumbing: Repiping or not

We live in the Highlands, San Mateo area for about 6 years now. Radiant heat was disconnected and removed before we moved in. A month ago we had a leak detection company came to help locate the hot water leak under the slab. It was unsuccessful since the leak was so small and was difficult to detect through my bamboo flooring. The recommendation from the company were. wait few more weeks and they can come back when the leak is larger to detect, repipe the whole system, or remove the bamboo flooring so the leak can be detected. Does anyone has similar experience which can provide some feedback?

When we developed a domestic cold water leak, our radiant guy was able to detect it in less than 10 minutes, but then it was a pretty large leak. We had the system on that side of the house repiped over the roof. Heck, with our baseboard heating system and all kinds of other stuff up there, aesthetics were not an issue. --and we did not want to dig up our newly installed tile floors. The other concern was that if you have and fix one leak today, there is no guarantee that you won't have another next week, and the week after that, and the week after that. So to protect the flooring once and for all, we dedided there was no choice but to go over the roof.

We had extra piping laid on the roof to accommodate repiping the rest of the system, should it need it in the future.
