Radiant Heat Pipes

Hello All
Do you know how far down are the radiant heat pipes are barried. I am adding a short wall in the bathroom and need to secure it to the floor.

Hey Jamal,
Sorry I could not help with your project, I have had a lot of personal stuff going on and I did not want to commit to your project and not be able to give it the level of attention that you deserve.
As far as your question, in the Highlands, most of the pipes are near the bottom of the slab (9 out of 10 is about the average). If you want me to come by and give your contractor advise, don't hestiate to call me. Cheers. Jon

There are however no guarantees, neighbors had new carpet installed in the master bedroom.

One of the carpet tack strips nails punched through a radiant pipe. It was located in a corner and when they repaired the pipes it was ½” from the surface.
