Repair garage doors

We have just moved into an Eichler. Our garage doors are the original, sliding type. They are not in great shape (hard to open/close) and as we do use them a lot, would like to repair/upgarde them (while remaining with the same concept). Any suggestions as to whom to turn to for that purpose? (peninsula, south bay area).

Hello,
Any garage door repair shop should be able to take care of the problem. I had the same problem as yours (I think). I called a local garage door repair shop (I forgot the name), told them the problem and they sawed off some of the bottom of the garage door so they slide easily. Cost about $150.
