Replacing roll up garage door with original sliders

I recently purchased an Eichler in the Balboa Highlands. The original garage doors have been replaced by a steel roll up door, and I’d like to put it back to original.

Has anyone else done this? Any tips or advice, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Wife of Prefab here. I haven't been on this site in awhile and I noticed you hadn't received any replies. Bummer. This used to be a much more active site. Anywho, you may have already solved your issue, but in case you haven't allow me to suggest you search garage doors in the home maintenance search tool bars. Also, talk to the realtor handling Eichlers in your area, as they often know everyone who does anything to Eichlers as they have to keep their clients happy and the contractors know it. I don't think it's a tough thing to do. We haven't had to do it, but I've read postings about the task and it wasn't that tough. You often just need a contractor who's got a few gray hairs and some Eichler Siding from Jeff (of Eichler Siding) to match your house and there ya go. Good luck. Brook
