Skylights
I have a Streng house built in 1981 - we bought it in 1985. One of the skylights has a small crack in it. Blomberg did the windows in the house, but they don't do skylights. There is no label on the skylight. Any suggestions for a skylight replacement in the Sacramento area?

Carefully measure the inside of the skylight 'box' from inside the house. Those measurements are the only ones that matter when skylight shopping. If local building supply houses don't stock your size, it will need to be ordered or custom made. Local contractors can point you in the right direction.
Blomberg windows doesn't do skylights, but one of the original Blomberg family does. Their company is called Sunoptics Skylights, they're in Sacramento, and they make the best skylights out there--very architectural and modern looking. Call them and ask for Jim Blomberg. No, I'm not related to them, but I've done some design work for them.
