I have the original set of doors for my kitchen cabinets. I don't have the cabinets per se, but the doors are light blue Zolotone? In decent shape. Free to good home.

If interested, contact me at anammendez AT sbcglobal DOT net.

Fix is to remove the paint from the bottom surface and the runner. Then drip some melted wax, or silicone grease into the runner (very little).

Also, consider a knob on them, but this will only have them open/close one way.

Some have the bottom planed so it's a sharp "V", but not a good solution, as it will have the door fall apart down there and/or cut the runner's groove deeper, creating other problems.

It's just fiber board with a recess milled into the ends for finger holds. You can make your own with fiberboard or anything that is that thickness, and put a hand hold of some sort (milled recess or knob or ???).

Also, note that many cabinets will have the end panel slammed too often/hard and is coming out. The original finish nails won't hold and the fix is to NOT slam, or use loooooong screws. Screws only a bandaide, as they too will pull out over time if slammed hard enough and often enough.

The kitchen has been completely remodeled. But I'm sure other people in the forum will appreciate the hints.
