Our antenna fell and put a small hole in our roof. The hole is about the size of a 50 cent piece. Rain is leaking into our kitchen. I'm wondering if this can be easily fixed? or Should I call a roofing company? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Trim the edges of the puncture back to clean, dry foam with a sharp knife. Fill the hole flush with the surface with exterior polyurethane caulk. It is very difficult to puncture a good polyurethane roof. The foam is tough, and thick. You also need to puncture the underlying tar roof to which the foam is 100% adhered.
