termite companies in south bay area?
Hi,
I would appreciate it if someone could recommand a good termite company for inspection and treatment in the south bay area? (We live in Sunnyvale).
A small tile fell off the MBR bathroom shower wall last night. There were fine dirt-like stuff on the ground. Not sure if it is termite and if so, how bad the infection is.

Sounds like what I found last year also in my bath area and I also thought it was termites. As it turned out it was carpenter ants and they are known to hang out in bathroom areas because of the moisture. That dirt like brown stuff you are seeing is actually shredded wood that they store in their nest. When the nest gets full it spills over. Thankfully it was way less to treat then termites. I use Terminex and after the first treatment which was about 260.00 they now come out every 3 months for maintenance.
