I have an old Thermador wall oven and prongs on the bake element have died. Does anyone have or know where I can get original replacement? New elements do not work.
The top (broiler) element from my WO16 just gave out last week. Are you looking for the same piece as me? If so, I won't be helpful, but look forward to hearing if you find a source with more than one. If you're looking for the bottom element, I might be able to help (will have to check)...
Are there local repair people that specialize in these older appliances?
Hi I'm a writer here at Eichler Network, and this thread reminded me of a feature I did years ago on the 50th anniversary of Thermador, which included a sidebar at the end with resources on repairs and parts (http://www.eichlernetwork.com/article/thermador-ovens-and-cooktops?page=0,0). In reporting the piece, I spoke to a guy named Ric Coggins, a regional sales manager with the company, who knew just about everything about the history and current status of its products. He'd probably be a good resource too. Contact info here: http://www.thermador.com/trade/builders/regional-contacts
Thanks for the posting Adam!
I know this is a long shot. But do you still have this oven? I am looking for the original coil bottom bake element.
I have a thermador wall oven WO 16A. I have replaced the coils, clean the spades, and replaced several clips. I have power to the unit. I am now questioning the control unit. Does anyone know where I can find one?? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
