Just recently caught a "Windex" commercial utilizing an Eichler!
Can anyone confirm.
Birds close glass door on man only to have him crash into the glass door due to shine.

NY Eichler Owner :)
I have seen it, and would most defantly say that it was an Eichler. And as a new Eichler owner I know the feeling of bouncing off the sliding glass doors.
Take care,
Margaret
Speaking of windex and Eichler windows, does anyone know if windex can be used on the SunChek safety film. If not, how do you clean windows with the film on. I forgot to ask when I had it put on. The dog nose prints are starting to accumulate! :)
Thanks!
We were lucky enough to have our Balboa Highlands (Granada Hills) Eichler featured in that commercial, but unfortunately have not seen the commercial itself. Can you tell me when you've seen it (time of day), and on what channel, if you can remember it? Thanks!
Be careful washing window film. I believe Windex is on the 'Do Not Use' list. The front of our office had window tint that lasted more than 23 years...in full sun (1/2 day), with no overhang. It did get cloudy in a couple of places late in its life. I'm sure that if we used the wrong stuff washing it, the material would have been ruined. It's important that only 'recommended' washing solutions are used.
The spot was seen during the soaps "Young & Restless"...try taping a few this week.

Thanks, Jerry. I'll do that! Frank :)
I caught a glimpse of this commercial a week or two ago, but haven't seen it since. The featured Eichler looked gorgeous, and I would love to tape it to view it slowly.
Thanks for the compliment, it means a lot. We bought our Eichler back in '93, and have loved living in it, as well as slowly fixing it up.
