just about any local window company can make you a custom sliding screen door for about $50 each. Check with the applicable service partners on this site, or your local yellow pages. It's easy and fast.

I just ordered some, but they were NOT $50 each, more like $200 for each screen door. Considering the heat and the fact that air circulation is much improved with the back doors opened, I considered that a deal. If you want the name of the company, email me at anammendez AT sbcglobal DOT net

If you have the metal frame, which it sounds like you might...
Home depot sells screen material for $10.00 ... total to redo one screen should be less than $15.00

Ana gave me a referral on a company that builds/rebuilds sliding screen doors.

Anyone else have any insights into refurbishing or rebuilding damaged screen door frames?

Thanks!

We have recently been having a local (San Carlos) screen company replace the screening on our original, aluminum frames. We have been doing a few each week and it's fairly reasonable. Send me an email at tcaoyoungATprodigyDOTnet if you want more information.

Thanks for the info.

Actually we need the FRAMES rebuilt/replaced/refurbished.

Looking for recommendations on shops that might do that kind of work. Please e-mail directly to geichlersv AT yahoo DOT com

Thanks.
