Jake -
This is in reply to a post you made a loooong time ago and I'm hoping you still remember it -
: There are at least 2 neighbours connected with landscape contractors in our tract.
: - One, the daughter of a long-time resident, is a landscape designer educated through U of Berkeley's master landscaper program. She did the work on Fairglen Ave. that has the stacked ball garden sculpture (an addition by the owners).
Do you happen to have the contact information for this designer? I've seen this yard and every time we drive by I admire it. We've finally got some money in the budget for landscaping and it's the first thing I thought of. I can be contacted at [email protected]
Any info you can give (or remember!) would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JC
Haven't heard back from Jake on this - does anyone else happen to know who did the work on the yard on Fairglen Avenue that has the stacked ball garden sculpture?
Alternately, if you have a landscaper that you really liked and would recommend, would you care to share the info? I'm at [email protected].
Thanks!
We, too, are in the market for a landscape architect or designer who understands Eichlers. We're up in San Mateo. Surely someone out there has had a great experience redoing their yard. Any recommendations? (I'm at [email protected]).
Thanks!
I live a few houses down from the one Jake spoke of. From what I have heard, the landscape designer they used is the daughter of the woman that lives on the corner of Fairlawn Ave. and Fairoak court. She is very nice--teaches piano, but I just cannot remember her name. The house is on your left as you face the culde-sac. I think her daughter did that home as well. I like it alot. Clean and simple.
BTW, the homeowners in the house they did on Fairlawn (with the stacked balls) are named John and Jean. They are very friendly and I am sure would be more than happy to provide you with contact info for their landscaper.
