I’m thinking about installing a kitchen exhaust fan that vents out of the ceiling (we have a hood, but it doesn't really do the job). Would anyone have a suggestion for something that is powerful and quiet?

Thanks- Ed

I guess installing an exhaust fan in your kitchen will give good air. Because exhaust fan will surely catch all the smoke and grease mist that could coat the surface of your kitchen things. You can even use some of the latest exhaust fans that comes with built-in lights. Bathroom Fan

I absolutely agree with you lauretta07, just like what I did in my kitchen. I installed an exhaust fan to prevent unnecessary smell like smoke. However, just to make sure that you buy a good exhaust fan, better compare the features first before buying, also rely on good manufacturing names. Ceiling Fans
