I am looking for some of the original white tiles that many eichlers had in them. The tiles had black and gray speckles in them. Does anyone know how to get some? :)
I have a picture of it to email you if you have some that I can purchase to ensure that we are talking about the same thing.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

Depending on the year and locale of your Eichler, those tiles may be of the asbestos kind.

Unless you're talking about ceramic tile.

They are the asbestos kind. Do you know where to get any? :)

No one is likely to have anything related to asbestos available as the legal liabilities have bankrupted a good number of companies over the years.

Are you trying to match existing tile? If so, even if you found some original stuff lying in a warehouse somewhere, it wouldn't match after all these years.

If you're just going for an original look, look at Armstrong's Excelon line. They're 12 x 12 rather than 9 x 9, but their look hasn't changed much since the fifties.
