Palo Alto Eichler on Cork Oak Way

Does anyone know what is up with 3431 Cork Oak Way in Palo Alto? It's up for sale and had an open house this weekend. Rumor has it that it was a custom Eichler built for someone in the Eichler Family. I also heard Lipp (of Lipp Hydronics) lived there for awhile.

It's a really interesting home but needs some work. It's got original kitchen, floor, and a big backyard with a pool and a special house with pool changing rooms. It looks like the Atrium is combined with the home but not sure if this was the original layout (although it looks like it is).
