Seeking Siding (small piece) Foster City

I'm going to be making up some panels for some work on my house, but not till a few months from now.
I will have some left over and about that size.
When do you need the piece?
I make it from regular siding and cut the extra groves, but my dado is only set up to cut a straight grove and not beveled nor the tiny groves inside at the bottom of the grove.
