We have been reviewing all the options available to us for a bathroom remodel. When it comes to the subject of replacing tile—as much as I like how it looks—I really balk. I have already scrubbed enough grout in my life and wish to avoid ever doing it again. Is there a good alternative to tile for showers and bathrooms that works with the Eichler aesthetic?
What about Corian? I want to use that for the countertops and was thinking the shower enclosure could match. Is it a problem with hot water?
