Repairing screen doors

Need to repair a sliding screen door -- one of the rigid heavy duty original kind, manufacturer unknown, with a large hole at the frame. This screen door has no spline, and the screen appears to be rigidly attached to the frame by means of an inflexible 1/8" angle.
