Carpenter Bees

Hi, has anyone had the experience of carpenter bees entering into your Eichler around the eaves and burrowing into the walls or ceiling. We seem to have these bees in our ceiling and we're looking for some solutions to removing them and keeping them from re-entering our home. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
