Fireplace mason needed

My husband and I recently finished the horribly laborious process of stripping all the paint off of our cinderblock fireplace. (we have a 1965 Eichler in S.F.) It is a large fireplace facade running from floor to ceiling, approox 10ft x 8ft.

Some of the blocks are loose, and some fell off, but all are intact and just need to be remortered into place. We also need to have the entire facde re-pointed.

Does anyone know a good mason that would be good for this project?

two years back, i wanted to remove the apron (skirt? base?) of my brick fireplace. i was having my floors tiled and i thought the apron extended too far into the living room.

A company in Campbell removed the apron for me. i was quite happy with their work, the price and that they never "had to reschedule". Please contact me at kw AT hplwkw.hpl.hp.com for their name and contact info.
