You might want to check with Randy, owner of Dura-Foam roofing up here, to see if he knows of anyone in your area. You can find him through the link labeled Home Improvement Resources, or through his display ad at the top of the home page.

Good luck. Foam is a great roofing material for Eichlers, IMHO.

Ditto the recommendation for foam.

I've had a T&G with 3 inches of insualtion installed before the foam and the difference is night and day. Will have to admitt that the foam was put over the original and the 2nd with the 3" insulation. Think mine must be about 6 inches of insulation total, plus the roofing materials.

DuraFoam did the work and recommend them if you lived up there or if they had an office down there.

Think you "need" it more down there, as the summer heat is way more than up here in the SF Bayarea.

I also insulated the two walls where the ceiling/roof 2x8's meet. The grove is not sealed well by the builders and bugs & heat/cold comes through. Bought several spray cans of insualtion and squirted it in from both sides. It will push out, but easy to cut off with a utlity knife.
