We found it! The perfect Eichler frozen in time. Yesterday, we attended a for sale open house for a home in Sunnyvale. I was drooling over this house as it was in perfect ORIGINAL condition. The kitchen, bathroom, flooring, ceilings, fixtures were original. The paneling was in perfect condition and had not darkened at all. The ceilings had not been painted except for one small bedroom. The exterior was stain and not paint. If I could have afforded it I would have bought it on the spot. It was spotless--someone loved this house and had extended time and resources in house cleaning and maintenance.
If you are interested e-mail me for the link to pictures. My husband tried to post them yesterday but since it goes to a real estate site that was against the rules.
I am so afraid someone will buy this gem and spray paint it white.
