Good Morning All!!

Our closet doors look somewhat faded and/or dirty.

Suggestions?

Thanks

use this site's search function for past bboard discussion. I have seen posts talking about replacement material for closet doors.

If you are looking for the grasscloth, this one is the closest match I could find. It is almost identical:

Expo Design Center also has the same catalog ("Asian Textures"), if you want to check it out yourself.

Hi,

Can you tell us a little bit more about your doors--materials and finish?

Closet doors vary from tract to tract (and even within tracts). Frames can be metal or wood. If wood they can be stained or zolotone (speckled paint). The backing can be stained mahogany, zolatone, or grass cloth. (or possibly others I'm not aware of).

What combination and what colors do you have? And is it both the frame and backing you are hoping to refresh, or only one or the other?

I just repaired four closet doors with the original burlap that I got at Home Depot along with the glue, which I have lots left over. I can give instruction or help on how to do it. We have metal frames on the doors which have to be removed first.
