Leaking radiant heat steel pipes

We bought our Eichler home in Terra Linda 7 years ago. The radiant heating system had already been abandoned and a forced air heating system had been installed prior to purchasing our home.

However, we've been having quite a few problems with water leaking out
of the deteriorating steel pipes. Our slab has a failry high water content and is causing mold blooms to grow under the linoleum in the kitchen. We installed a floating floor...which takes care of the ascetics...but I still worry about the leaking. Is there a way to flush out the rest of the
water? Most of the system for radiant heat has been dismantled. I don't believe we even have a boiler.

Also, we're planning on remodeling our master bathroom and want to switch the positions of the toilet and shower so we can put in a larger shower than the original "phone booth" sized shower stall. Is this doable? I read in the last issue of the Eichler Network that this could cause more
leaking problems in the pipes. I guess what I'm looking for is an alternative to redoing the entire slab foundation of our home.

Help!

Kate,
2 Bathroom remodels have taken in our neighborhood recently.

1) A great $10,000 job that opened up the entire bathroom and changed the toilet and made for a Big Big Bath - Very Cool - Very Expensive.

2) Moving the Toilet so that it faces out the door so that the Shower can be opened up into a "Double Phone Booth". This does work but I don't know about the Toilet facing out into the room.

We are simply going to change out the original Glass doors for a Clear seamless glass door from Expo. Very Clean and Open. This really make the bath seem bigger and we don't have to change the slab.
