Moisture/water on floor near main backyard windows

Hi folks!

After some heavy rain last night, we noticed a wet spot on the floor of our newly-purchased Eichler, close to the large windows facing the backyard.

We're pretty confident it's not coming from the roof since there's no visible water/humidity above that spot, the window trim on the floor in that location also feels a bit mushy and the flooring looks a bit water-stained. It's also unlikely that this is coming from the underfloor radiant heating, since ours has been disconnected. So we're suspecting water intrusion from the outside during heavy rain.

What's the right type of professional to have come in and diagnose/quote for a repair?

Hi, Were you able to get this fixed. Would you mind sharing who you worked with ?

After having a local window company visit, they indicated that this may be due to some very old and deteriorated bottom window trim in our large floor-ceiling windows that face the backyard and get a ton of rain exposure and suggested we reach out to a carpentry contractor to get them replaced. They recommended a local contractor who specializes in Eichlers. This was mostly a carpentry job after all, since they ended up removing the windows and fully rebuilding the trim and surround with new metal water tables. We were very happy with the results and their attention to detail. They had to coordinate with the window company for removal of the huge windows. Due to this, it ended up being a pricey multi-day job; but the end result looks great, and we haven't seen a drop since rain season started this year!
