recent or near future mini-split ac install
Thinking about installing a mini-split in a living room and/or bedroom of our eichler. Any Eichler owner with recent experience installing the same or with a plan to do so in the near future.

We installed it last October, mainly for heating since the radiant heat pipes had several leaks. We had Mitsubishi which works well and is quiet. Our installed Calvey Heating and Air Conditioning is very professional with a reasonable price. I don't know if they serve Oakland though. Let me know if you have additional questions.
We're amazed there are such AC options. What a blessing in today's hot summers! May I ask about your air conditioning experience?
Which rooms did you do?
How did you handle the large spaces like living room? harder to heat, AC?
Did you put the units on the inside or outside walls of the rooms?
Was the outside installation noisy?
