I have Quincy Jones floor plan M.J. 1864 built in 1965 and im trying to locate the clean out if there is any on the side of the house. I found the one in front of the house but i need to find the one on the kitchen side of the house. thank you.

My wife and I live in a claude Oakland Eichler built in 1960. I have been told that the Building codes in the 60's only required one clean out usually in the front and that is only goes to the main sewer in the street, not back towards the house. For the Kitchen or anyother line problems you will need to snake through the vent pipe for the drain in question. Any plumber shouild be able to help you. That is if their company policy will allow them to get on the roof to access the vent pipes. Good luck

Thank you for the information. I was able to find the clean out by the bedroom side of the houses but its was buried 10 inches deep. I was installing a french drain and i just happen to find it.
