"Two of them are preparing proposals for the buyer," said the realtor. Although the L.A.-based John Lautner Foundation has reportedly given tours of the house in recent years, Salazar said other than that, "The house has not been shown to the public in 15 years."

"There will not be an open house for this house," he stated, noting that with its fame and siting on a winding hillside street, to open it would result in "a riot."

"We have three and four showings everyday for qualified buyers," Salazar said of interest in the listing through last week, adding that he was expecting to see two more on the coming weekend, "one from Paris, one from Berlin."

Should one need a longer look, the two realtors are willing to make an unusual accommodation.

"You can't make a decision about buying the house [just by] walking through two times," said Salazar. "We'll let them stay in the house for one evening. Then, they can make a decision how they feel about the house."

That said, buyers should not expect to do a lot of horse-trading over this property.

"We're playing the market for this house," the realtor warned. "Unless we get a full [price] offer, we're not accepting."
