Hi: Due to asbestos concerns,I will be putting a floating wood or laminate flooring over the linoleum. Has this been done by anyone who has radiant heat? Thanks Angela :)

Angela,

If you use the "Search" feature on this forum, you'll find plenty of previous discussions regarding flooring types and radiant heat.

Enjoy...

Hi,

I have Wisonart throughout my house. Some rooms directly over the linoleum. It acts as an additional moisture barrier and does not reduce the heat enough to warrant removing it. You will also want to put a moisture barrier of your choice over it anyhow, but don't bother removing it. DO trim any areas out that are peeling up and causing irregularities in the surface though.
