I have an Eichler in Marin and need to find a repair person or figure out how replace the handle/ lock part. Mine broke on my living room slider. The other sliders are fine, but could probably stand to be replaced...any suggestions as to someone who can do this? or when to begin to search for the replacement parts that might look "Eichler similar"?

Any good suggestions / recommenations for a source for replacement screens for the slider screen doors? Plese e-mail recommendations directly to: annh AT vidpix DOT com

sorry to be cryptic, but look at the name on your lock/handle and do a google search for this company -- perhaps coupled with the word "window". if yours is like mine (a 63 model), the company is still in business and stocks replacement parts... i was able to order new lock actuators (switches) which -- although expensive -- were a lifesaver.

I may make some from aluminum if there is enough of a need. Anyone interested?

I am replacing two original door units this weekend and next. Are you still looking for latches? [email protected]
