We're replacing the original 30 yr old boiler. Any suggestions as to brand, company we should look at or avoid?

Anyone use one of those outside thermostats? Would you recommend one?

Is there a combination boiler and heater package that is smart controlled and shared? We would like to replace both simultaneously or if anyone offer step upgrade. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The next thing we'll do to our Eichler is to replace the aging water heater and ancient boiler with one tankless water heater.

We're sourcing the Takagi T-K2. Check it out. It plays very nice with hydronic/radiant heating systems.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has a takagi unit or laars unit. I need to install an unit and has been recommended these by 2 different contractors.
