Radiant heat manifold operation

I have searched every post on this site, and spent hours searching others for this information. Yet, I have had no luck.
So what I would like to know is the following.
I have two radiant heat manifolds in my 4 bedroom 2 bath Eichler, built in 1964.
The first is located in the pantry. It has 6 1/4 in pipes coming off of a one inch L shaped pipe. The second is located in the hall closet on the other side of the house. This manifold has 7 1/4 inch pipes coming off of the larger pipe.
Can somebody tell me which pipes feed what rooms?
I'm pretty sure that the kitchen pantry manifold operates the kitchen/family room, the laundry room, and living room. The other, I would guess operates the 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Thank you

There were some posts on these awhile back. If I remember correctly, the consensus is that each house is different and the best way to figure out how yours work is to shut them all off and turn one on each day to determine which pipe leads where.

Yes, I expect TomB is correct--manifold location/configuration will differ somewhat from model to model.

If you provided a little more detail (courtyard/atrium, architect, and/or model number), someone with a similar situation might be able to help you. It's worth a try anyway before going the longer route of shutting off valves and trying to determine the room affected...

Good luck
Jake.

P.S. I was fortunate to find the original manifold diagram wedged down behind the manifold cover on mine. I have a1960 Jones & Emmons atrium model number SJ-1534 in Willow Glen (San Jose).

Our Eichler is an atrium model with 4 bedrooms 2 baths, a utility room behind the kitchen and a two car garage, built in 1964.
If you are looking at the front of our house, two bedrooms are to the left, then the front door then the garage on the right.
If you walk through the garge you wind up in the kitchen where the first manifold is located in the pantry.
if you walk into the house from either the front door or garage and you turn left at the loggia, the closet in that hall behind the master bath is the other manifold.
Thanks

It's too late for me, but I was told the manifold values should only be turned 1/4 (on or off). I didn't know, and used a screwdriver to turn them like a threaded value; now, there's one or two of my values where the packings are probably worn and leaking slightly.

Yours may be different than mine.
