Replacement windows and sliders

Own an Eichler in Terra Linda and earlier this spring the tenants mentioned the condensation / moisture issue so thinking of at minimum, replacing the two large windows/slider in the main living/dining/kitchen area and the slider in the master bedroom with double pane glass. Anyone done this in Marin recently who has contractor and/or window recommendations? Thoughts about the aluminum verus vinyl frame?
