Takagi Water Heater

Hello,
Well I found out that the orignal boiler is not very safe to run. It has been recommended that I replace it...the recommendation is a Takagi T-K2. Has anyone had one of these installed to replace the boiler? If so how do you like it? Was the expence worth it?
Thanks,
Margaret

I have only 2 instances of direct contact with the TK-2 retrofit for a new boiler; in both instances, the equipment had been installed for less than a year, and the owners were happy. The saftey advantage is that the boiler has some pressurized hot water, and under the right conditions can cause a hazard. I have no direct knowledge of any such an instance with equipment less than 40 years old. Good luck
