I have a vintage Thermador (stainless steel) gas range top. I need replacement knobs. I am at my wits end here. I can't find vintage knobs for this range anywhere. Can you help me out or point me in the right direction? Please e-mail me directly with contact info: leemeyers AT aol.com

Thanks so much!!!

I don't have a set of spare knobs but was wondering if the problem you have with the current knobs could be fixed. Have they broken or lost their grip or the numbers worn off?

You don't say what style of knobs you need. Thermador stovetops had a least a couple of different knob designs over the years so they are not the same from tract to tract. Mine are black "bakelite" with recessed white numbers*. Other stovetop knobs that I have seen are bakelite with a silver band on which black numbers are printed.

Hopefully someone will have spares but, if not, if you describe the problem someone might already have a fix.

Cheers.
Jake

* I recently refurbished my knobs by removing the few remaining bits of white paint, cleaning them, they repainted white enamel nailpolish into the grooves. Looks good. I'll have to see how well it wears.

Hi, did you find your knobs? I don't have any for you but wondered if you came across anyone who you found could help as I am looking for help in unfreezing cooktop knobs. Gail.
