water leak around chimney
There is water dripping down the wall of the chimney inside the house after a series of rain storm. The tar and gravel roof is 13 years old but this problem started soon after the roof was installed. I am starting to suspect it is the chimney. Any suggestion on the solution? Any recommendation on chimney repairman who can fix this problem? Thanks

I had the same issue with my roof. Water was leaking down the brickwork of the fireplace inside the house. My roofer said it can be water absorbed through the brick outside as it may become very porous. He resealed the point where the brick meets the tar and gravel roof and also sealed the brick on the chimney. So you might talk to your roofer first.
