Where do I find Window Safety decals?

I would like to find some sort of window decal for some Eichler windows. I am looking for something that can stick to the large windows so that someone (either a child or adult) does not walk through the window.

I have looked at Home Depot, and called two local glass companies but haven't found anything. All I can find are lots of automotive stickers for cars on the internet. Anything lead on something that goes with a modern decor would be most appreciated. Any ideas other than stickers are appreciated.

I just did a quick google search using the term "window clings" and came up with quite a few hits, including several with instructions on how to make your own. I think they're called clings because there isn't actually adhesive on them. They can be removed for window cleaning or changed with the seasons.

I bought some dark static cling type window tint at Tap plastic and cut some different shape sizes of triangles out of it.

You can see the window better but you can also see through them. They seem to work well so far :-)

Thanks Ralph and Tracy- I ended up going to Tap plastics and getting the cling film. Lynn

We had our windows coated with a ceramic plastic, for $5.00 a square ft.
They offer different tints which make it obvious that a window is there.
Also, if someone does walk into a window you can be assured that they won't be killed by a big shard of glass.

We bought some gel ones (about a quarter inch thick) shaped like stars a while back. I think we got them at Bed, Bath and Beyond or a similar place.

Now, they did manage to melt onto the glass during the summer, but apart from that they were fine.

For quick window markers for parties, we've used self-adhesive dots from a stationery store. We've also gotten smoked plastic film from Orchard Supply. This stuff's intended to darken windows, and sticks by static alone. We've cut it into inch-wide bars that we've put across windows at waist height.
